What Is World Long Drive?
World Long Drive (WLD) is the top long drive competition in the world. Competitors from all over try to hit the ball as far as possible in a tournament format. Events take place across the U.S. and internationally, with players moving from local qualifiers to regionals and, for the best, the pro level.
You don't need to be a pro to try it out. These qualifiers are built for everyday golfers who want to see how far they can really hit it — and how they stack up against the competition.
What Makes the August 15 Event Different
This event combines both the local and regional qualifying rounds. That means if you qualify locally, you can move straight into the regional round the same day, rather than waiting for a separate regional event down the road.

Local Qualifier Time Slots:
- 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM
- 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM
- 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Regional Qualifier:
- 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM
