Lessons with Nick Segaline, PGA

Great! Second lesson with Nick. Striking the ball a lot better. Signed up for 6 lessons. Happy with my progress.

First time taking class with Nick, definitely not the last one. He was engaging, methodical, very clear with his explanations and made me feel super comfortable. Needless to say, I feel my game definitely improved from taking a lesson with him.

Nick was a fantastic teacher. I couldn’t believe how much I learned in such a short amount of time. He kept everything simple and easy to understand, and I saw an immediate improvement. Highly recommend!

I feel like my budget dictated my fitting experience. It was my first time getting fitted, and I don't have a good swing and had only broken 100 once. But with an $800 budget for irons, it felt more like a "try out what you can afford" rather than "this head, shaft, swing weight, lie angle, and grip setup will help you the most."

That said, Nick was friendly, professional and helpful. He answered every question I had and did explain that my options were limited in my price range. I did end up buying a set of Mizuno Speed Metals. Nick explained that they were an off the rack set and that were at the top of my budget. He let me try other clubs in the set and a longer shaft when I asked. The only other thing I hit ok were used Callaways. There was no pressure to buy either of those or anything else from Nick, and I expect that he would've let me try a few things outside of my budget if I'd asked.

The new irons were an absolute improvement over my old set. I hit them higher and farther, I love how they look, and I don't know if a more expensive set would make my swing any better anyway. I shot my best round today with a 92 now that I'm used to them.

There's a good chance I'll go back for a driver fitting once I can afford it.

I thoroughly enjoyed spending time with Nick… He put me at ease right away… Gave me positive constructive feedback on my swing and how I approach the ball and just calmed me as I work to improve my game I’ll be back! I even hit the ball well a few times before I left!

I’d never picked up a golf club in my life and knew absolutely nothing about the game. From the very start, Nick made me feel comfortable with good analogies to give me confidence. He’s genuinely encouraging, and he gave me solid techniques that helped me build a foundation right away. I’m excited to continue working with him while visiting the region

Nick is an excellent pro. He is very knowledgeable and has a great teaching skills. The facility is top notch. Great technology to assist in your lessons. I highly recommend Nick and the performance center in portland.

Nick is amazing!

I let Nick know that even though I’ve golfed for a few years it has almost exclusively been scrambles and although I can go to the range and hit balls, I don’t really know what I’m doing or how to improve. We started with a simple technique on how to properly strike the ball. Looking forward to practice and improvement.

Nick Segaline did a great job quickly identifying 2 issues with my grip and swing. We were able to work on both and he seemed to correct my issue. Thanks again Nick.
