Lessons with Kevin Telford, PGA

I have been hitting the ball pretty good and wanted to capitalize on my hard work.Wasnt exactly sure if a lesson was the right thing since I have been self tought,,,Man it could not have been any better,Kevin was on point with a nonsense approach that I appreciate, and he picked up on just what I needed, and I was able to apply it to my game immediately,,,,, looking forward to my next lesson

Kevin was very helpful. He adjusted a few things on my stand and it definitely helped me to gain a little more confidence in my swing.

I had my first lesson with Kevin, and I was impressed by how thoroughly he analyzed my swing. He took the time to break everything down in a way that was easy to understand and gave me clear areas to focus on for improvement. His use of technology and the TPI assessment really stood out and provided valuable insights into my swing. Even after just one lesson, my ball speed increased by more than 5 mph. I’m excited to keep working with Kevin and would highly recommend him to anyone looking to improve their game.

Kevin is awesome, so knowledgeable and patient. I drive an hour and forty minutes each way for his lessons and happy to do it.

Kevin was great. In short order he identified issues with my swing and gave suggestions on how to fix them. I really liked that performance center has video so you can see your swing. To be able to actually see my swing in lieu of just being told what I was doing was a big help for me personally. It was also helpful to be able to go straight from my lesson to the driving range next door and practice. I have already scheduled more lessons.

My lesson with Kevin was great. He is a good teacher and has a unique ability to analyze / break your swing down and explain things extremely well. I highly recommend him.

Dennis C was great. Worked from the grip thru all parts of my swing. His experience shows as he knows the correction required and techniques to get you there. I will be back and highly recommend taking a lesson from Dennis

Kevin Telford is a very good coach. It’s been easier for me to learn because he communicates well. It’s easy to accept the advice because he also plays on very high level.

Kevin, is great! Had me recognizing weaknesses in my game and gave some simple drills and exercises to begin my journey to better golf.

I had my first lesson with Kevin today. He analyzed my swing and asked many questions. Our goal was to identify fitness level in accordance with golf swing. In my many years of lessons I have never had a coach succinctly explain the dynamics of the body and its relation to golf swing. I left with specific exercises and stretches to serve as foundation of a better swing. One can always hit more practice balls but a full understanding of the body dynamics has provided me more insight than I have ever before in a lesson. Highly recommended!

Within an hour Kevin had me striking the ball consistently in the middle of my club and gave me some excellent swing clues to help with my arm extension.

Had a couple 1 hour lessons with Kevin and he was extremely helpful. After just two lessons he had me striking the ball better than I have in years and gave me some confidence over the ball. Great facility with all the training aids you will need. Would recommend for any kind of golfer trying to improve their game.

Great session and well worth the time and money. I should have taken lessons years ago. I would recommend Kevin to anyone. He quickly figured out what I needed to fix and then did a handful of drills to get the new feel. Great experience and I will be booking another one for next week. Thank you Kevin

Kevin is the best! He’s excellent at both identifying and explaining the proper body movements needed to improve your swing, then implementing it with drills building up to full swings. I’ve been to several other golf coaches at other locations, but it was Kevin where it finally clicked and I started understanding what I needed to do to improve. Highly recommended!!

I took my first golf lesson last night with Kevin. As I grew up playing baseball from a young age, up through college, a lot of my tendencies and motions have been geared towards baseball, even when I’ve been playing golf. I’ve know that I’ve needed a lesson for quite some time, but put it off far too long. Before my lesson, I posted on the Golf CT group on Facebook, asking how people liked Kevin Telford as an instructor. The reviews were incredible, and no one had a bad thing to say about him. That made me very excited for the lesson, and finally meet Kevin. He was very polite, informative, patient, and knowledgeable with everything. He made what previously was a daunting task (booking and doing a golf lesson, since it was something I had never done) seem so seamless and comforting. I was learning how to adjust my set up to the ball, my grip, changing my swing, and incorporating my lower half into each swing much more than I was before. I have so much valuable information from my first, hour lesson with Kevin. Now, I have the TPI app downloaded and 10 minutes worth of “post lesson notes” written down in my phone to apply to my upcoming simulator and range sessions. It feels great knowing that there are people out there like Kevin Telford who are willing to give it their all — teaching the sport of golf and helping people like myself get better and more confident in their game. I will definitely be booking another lesson once I work on the techniques I was taught from the first lesson!

What a true game changer for me. Kevin is incredible in his ability to analyze my swing and help me modify it to improve my game. He is absolutely easy to work with. His explanation of the mechanics needed to improve my game were easy to imprint and will help me retain the modifications he recommended.
