FAQ
A golf club re-shafting is a service you may need for a number of reasons. You should get your clubs re-shafted if you:
- Have broken or damaged shafts
- Are switching from steel to graphite
- Are adjusting swing weight
- Are changing flex for swing speed
- Are upgrading to premium, aftermarket shafts
- Are rebuilding favorite clubs
"Flowing" a shaft refers to the process in which our repair experts identify the exact orientation the shaft must take when installed into your club to maximize performance.
Properly known as Flatline Oscillation, our repair experts identify the most stable plane of the shaft to ensure that it bends consistently throughout the swing.
Yes, but we suggest allowing us to source the shaft to ensure proper fitment and to qualify for warranty coverage.
Many drivers use a hosel adapter. New shafts must be tipped, ferruled, and epoxied into the adapter. Clubs like irons and wedges have a more direct installation process. The shaft is epoxied directly into the hosel with no adapter.
Lead time is typically 24 hours for re-shafting products. Lead time could exceed 24 hours dependent on shaft availability.
