Loft and Lie Adjustments
We recommend having lofts and lies checked on a yearly basis or when you notice inconsistency between clubs within your iron set, this is especially the case with forged club heads made with soft carbon steel. Club heads made of cast stainless steel tend to hold their angles except under extreme abuse so they don't need to be checked as often.
Signs your clubs may need adjustments
Your golf clubs may need a loft and lie adjustment if your shots consistently miss one side, your ball flight is inconsistent, or you frequently hit shots thin or chunky. Signs include wear on the toe or heel of the club, divots deeper on one side, and consistent pulls or pushes in ball flight.

FAQ
Lie angle refers to the angle between the center of the shaft and the sole of the clubhead. Lie angle is critical for determining shot direction and consistency.
An improper lie angle causes the toe or heel to strike first, resulted in hooked or sliced shots.
Loft refers to the angle of the clubface relative to the ground. Loft angle determines trajectory, spin, and distance of your shot.
Correcting loft ensures consistent gaps between clubs.
Bending refers to physically adjusting the hosel to change the loft or lie of a club. The process allows our club repair experts to tailor your clubs to you and your swing.
We recommend checking your clubs at least once per season, after changing your swing, and if you practice regularly on hard mats.
