Rolling out a new addition to an existing range of shaft and neck configurations, Scotty Cameron introduces OC—Onset Center—designed to deliver low-torque performance with exceptional feel and feedback in two models: Phantom 11R OC and Studio Style Fastback OC.

This new approach to low-torque putter design incorporates a straight shaft with 1° of shaft lean, precisely positioned in line with the putter’s CG and paired with the tour-validated technology of chain-link face milling and legendary Scotty Cameron precision and craftsmanship.

Offered first in the Phantom and Studio Style families, these new configurations give players who game standard putters the ability to easily adapt to and enjoy the benefits of low torque with precise feel, stability and feedback.

Onset—versus offset—refers to the shaft placement positioned behind the leading edge of the putter, which promotes a neutral setup and a natural hand position, as well as an unimpeded view of the topline at address. Center refers to the entry position where the shaft joins the putter head in line with the Center of Gravity (CG) location to provide a square-to-the-path feel throughout the stroke.

Low-torque putters have attracted golfers because of their resistance to rotation, heavier weight and squareness through the stroke. But these putters come with a tradeoff—feel. STUDIO STYLE FASTBACK OC

As an extension of the popular Studio Style Fastback design, the Studio Style Fastback OC is a low-torque model featuring the same ring-weighted, high-alignment, multi-material design of the other Fastback models, but with Scotty’s tour-validated OC technology package. Featuring onset center shaft placement behind the putter face’s leading edge, the straight shaft is precisely positioned in line with the putter head’s CG location and leans 1° forward. This allows for low-torque performance and face alignment that stays square to the path.

With a Studio Carbon Steel face insert for soft sound, feel and tour-preferred roll, a black anodized aluminum heel-toe inlay for enhanced alignment and heavier overall weighting, the new Studio Style Fastback OC includes a custom mid-size Matador grip and a premium black shaft for a putter designed to provide squareness through the stroke with low torque and superior feel.  

STUDIO CARBON STEEL (SCS) FACE INSERT

The Studio Style Fastback OC includes a chain-link milled Studio Carbon Steel (SCS) insert for soft sound and feel, treated with an electroless nickel plating for enhanced durability with aerospace-inspired vibration damping for tuned sound, feel and performance.

CUSTOM BLACK SHAFT

Custom made for the new OC putters, each model includes a special black KBS x Scotty Cameron shaft with optimal flex, unimpeded alignment and precise feel.

CUSTOM MATADOR GRIP

With a debossed chain-link texture built-in, each new OC putter includes a custom 11-inch mid-size Matador grip in black with racy red and cool gray accents.
