World Long Drive Is Coming Back to Chris Cote’s — And You Could Be Next

What Is World Long Drive?

World Long Drive (WLD) is the top long drive competition in the world. Competitors from all over try to hit the ball as far as possible in a tournament format. Events take place across the U.S. and internationally, with players moving from local qualifiers to regionals and, for the best, the pro level.

The best part — you don’t have to be a pro to get started. These qualifiers are built so everyday golfers can jump in and see how they stack up.

Event 1: Local Qualifier — Saturday, April 18, 2026

Held at Indoor Golf, this is your first chance to qualify for regionals.

Available time slots:

• 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM
• 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM
• 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Each attempt is $50 and includes 6 balls. No WLD membership required.

Registration is open now. You can sign up ahead of time online, or the day of — as long as your time slot isn’t full.

Event 2: Local + Regional Qualifier — Saturday, August 15, 2026

This one’s also at Indoor Golf and gives you even more opportunity. It’s both a local and regional qualifier, so you can move up the ladder faster.

Time slots:

• 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM
• 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM
• 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM
